services in a single packet-based optical transport solution Prisma
IP only requires you to forecast the total bandwidth for all services,
not individual service bandwidth requirements creating savings in
incremental transport costs as individual services grow at different
rates.

IP also allows you to easily provision and monitor packet, TDM and
wavelength services extremely easily and reliably and with the appropriate
quality of service (QoS) guarantees using a carrier-class GUI-based
Element Management System, which also performs monitoring, bandwidth
management and event notification. The Prisma IP EMS can be integrated
with external management systems via SNMP or CORBA northbound interfaces.
A truly scalable platform that is continually growing, Prisma IP
offers four different chassis allowing installation in a variety
of locations from the primary headend or central office to small
customer premises.
