Over the past two years, Cisco and Scientific Atlanta have been transitioning into one brand. Scientific Atlanta has become the Cisco Service Provider Video Technology Group (SPVTG).
Over the coming weeks, you will begin to see the transition solidify and unify even more, with new email addresses, Cisco communications, and Cisco branding.
In the midst of these changes, your current account executives and sales support teams will continue in their steadfast support of you and your needs. Jim McDonald has moved out of the day-to-day operations; however, he will remain in a strong advisory role for our customers and our strategy. The senior executives (Larry Bradner, Ward Dickson, Dwight Duke, Allen Ecker, Michael Harney, Bob McIntyre, Tom Nilson, and Pat Tylka) will continue to actively support the day-to-day activities and support the integration of the SPVTG group into Cisco. The SPVTG will be led by Tony Bates, Senior Vice President & General Manager, Service Provider Group and your sales team will be working with the Cisco Service Provider Sales team led by Nick Adamo, Senior Vice President, Service Provider Sales.
