Account Manager Cable Germany

| Description |
|
The Account Manager is responsible for Cable sales development
in Germany and for establishing and maintaining relationships
with the company's clients. He/she will be accountable for
the sales results achieved without P&L responsibility. The
Account Manager will utilise the technical and operational
resources located in Cisco/SA centres around Europe.
The new Account Manager will not hold responsibility for
P&L but will be responsible for bookings, delivery and expanding
the business in general. He/she will report into the Sales
Director Germany.
Key Tasks / Major Deliverables
- Be responsible for the sales of S-A's products to Cable
or other specified customers in Germany.
- Maintain and develop contacts and relations to existing
customers as well as new potential clients.
- Understand customers' requirements and actively promote
S-A's products and services to fulfil these requirements.
- Together with European Sales team, participate in the
preparation of sales plans and campaigns, business plans
and customer development plans.
- Conduct sales presentations on all levels.
- Use, maintain and update sales records in the CRM system
used by Cisco/S-A.
- Act as a consultant towards the customers regarding the
use of S-A's products and services.
- Generate quotes according to S-A's standard and present
these quotes to the customers.
- Participate in products and skills trainings organized
by S-A.
- Prepare market forecasts for the territory according to
Cisco/S-A requirements.
- Provide market feedback from the territory to the sales
management.

Required Experience and Skills
The successful candidate will be a business-oriented, accomplished
executive who is driven by both business and structural growth,
meeting the following criteria:
- Demonstrated Accounts Management, and successful experience
in the creation and deployment of Account Strategy.
- Understanding of the cable and cable operators business.
- Highly motivated individual with strong business development
qualities, who can provide effective response for business
needs.
- Excellent customer relationship management.
- Results-oriented professional with strong entrepreneurial
skills.
- Ideally 3+ years relevant experience; knowledge of video
communication solutions and networking.
- Ability to present visionary solutions to client executives.
- Excellent presentation skills and public speaking ability.
- Strong business awareness, problem-solving attitude.
- Cross-functional communication skills. Very good negotiation
skills.
- Ability to handle pressure without letting it detract
from the quality of work.
- A flexible, pro-active, "can do" attitude, open-mind and
team player skills. With strong willingness to learn, teach
and grow in the organization.
- Self motivated, creative and able to work with minimal
supervision.
- Ability to formulate operational guidelines.
