System Engineer Cable Nordic

As a System Engineer you have a key role in the sales process. You are responsible for analyzing our customer's requirements, translating these into system designs and presenting them. Furthermore, you will be partly involved in project management as the key technical contact with our customers. Focus area will be Nordic (Denmark, Sweden, Norway & Finland).

Key Responsibilities

• You own the technical system responsibility of a qualified project.
• You take the consultative leadership of the pre-sales phase in system technical aspects, including system presentations and demos.
• You design end-to-end solutions satisfying the customers business case based on existing S-A equipment and verified 3rd party equipment.
• You own responsibility of selecting 3rd party equipment offered for system solutions in cooperation with Project Management.
• You prepare technical aspects and perform demos and interoperability tests of proposed systems.
• You provide technical responses to RFI and RFQ documents including compliancy statements on proposed products and solutions and system descriptions.
• You provide system design documentation and BOM as input for offering.
• You own the responsibility of a proper hand-over of ordered systems to project management - in all technical aspects related to the system solution.
• You participate as system specialist in shows and exhibition to give sales support in technical system related aspects.

• Masters in Engineering or Masters of Science in Engineering (Ing., Dipl.-Ing. Or Dipl.Ing.FH or higher), telecom, software or electronics, or equivalent through experience.
• Experience with system engineering and project management within the DVB market; knowledge of cable operators, digital TV. Experience within DHE BB, Transport BB, Access and IPTV are a plus. You are eager to learn new technologies.
• A very good knowledge of the cable market in the Nordic.
• Willingness to travel (up to 50%).
• Your enthusiastic social skills allow you to easily integrate in an existing team; you like to take initiatives and are autonomous minded.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (negotiating level). Danish native speaker, with strong knowledge of the other Nordic language. Knowledge of any other language is a plus.
