Repair Team Leader

| Description |
|
The repair team leader is responsible for the day-to-day
operations of the EMEA repair department located in Kortrijk.
This includes but is not limed to:
Management/coordination tasks:
- Coordination, planning and monitoring of the repair process
of returned products to ensure on-time delivery in a cost
effective way. Develop and maintain repair schedules, task
assignments and allocation of resources and equipment to
ensure optimum performance and compliance with departmental
commitments
- Documentation of the repair process and correct follow-up
in order to guarantee repair quality. Analyze and continuously
search to improve the repair process. Participate in projects
to reduce end-to-end supply chain costs through internal
and external repair assessments to identify outsource, cost
reduction, quality improvement & cycle time reduction opportunities
- Maintain liaison with external repair partners and service
representatives to ensure that equipment and requirements
meet established standards and that applicable policies
and procedures are complied with. Establish service agreements
with third party repair centers
- Communication & coordination with Customer Care and Sales
Operation on customer and repair related topics. Define
key repair terms and conditions in service contracts.
- Managing a team of technicians and repair coordinators:
coaching to optimize performance as individuals and as a
team, hiring, performance appraisals, disciplinary actions,
promotions, vacation schedules, supervise training of employees

| Profile |
- You have strong people management, organizational and
leadership skills.
- As multitasker you show an open, organized and structured
way of working in a time-managed manner with a permanent
follow-up of activities.
- You have advanced computer skills (MS Office)
- You are willing to travel occasionally (max 15%)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are
required with mandatory multilingual skills, at least including
English, Dutch and French. Knowledge of any other language
is a plus.
