Job description
As Product Support Engineer you will be responsible for the
configuration and implementation of our IP set-top box products
in the Service Provider's infrastructure.
You read, analyze and interpret relevant RFC's and other
type of specifications. You work closely with the customer's
technical team to verify the interoperability of our products
in their infrastructure. You provide technical support, diagnostics
and troubleshooting during implementation and post sales phase.
You are comfortable working with Service Providers via phone,
email and on-site visits. You can quickly build up technical
relationships with customers and involved 3rd parties. Internally
you work closely together with the local team as well as with
Business Unit in the US. Your enthusiasm and creativity will
be a driving force behind our IPSTB business. Frequent travel
(up to 40%) to customers' premises can be required.

| Profile |
- Master in Engineering, specialized in telecommunications,
information technology or equivalent through experience
- You have strong knowledge of IP networking and you are
skilled in IP protocol analysis. Experience with CPE devices,
Digital TV or xDSL and related matter is an asset. You are
eager to learn new technologies.
- You are a hands-on type of person with troubleshooting
& analytical skills
- Your enthusiastic social skills allow you to easily integrate
in an existing team; you like to take initiatives and are
autonomous minded.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are
required with mandatory multilingual skills, at least including
English. Knowledge of any other European language is a plus
- Travel to customers' premises will be required (up to
40%)
