Network Systems BU - harbours a worldwide R&D organisation
working on the most advanced compressed digital video processing
technologies. We create high-end systems for interactive applications
that deliver digital video services from provider to subscriber,
like video from camera to TV set (glass to glass).
Our customers are the worlds' leading cable operators and
telecommunication companies. They provide us with exciting
technological challenges to improve the multimedia experiences
of their subscribers at home, including you: most probably

Job Description
Communicate - We are one team exchanging ideas and

Verify - Your products comply with the highest quality
standards to maximize the satisfaction of our customers.

You are fascinated by digital data communication & data processing.
Within a young team of developers, you will work on the development
of embedded and application software for high-end processors
as well as on the development of applications for cable headends.
You will also work on the execution of various test programs
(electrical, design, system) and the interfacing from the
R&D environment to the various production units.

| Profile |
- You have a Master Degree in Engineering (Industrieel/Burgerlijk
Ingenieur), specialized in software engineering, electronics
or telecommunications
- You have a passion for object oriented modeling (UML)
and software development (C++) in a multithreaded real-time
environment.
- The key component of your application expertise is your
knowledge on scripting (bash, perl, python), networking
(TCP-IP, UDP, SNMP) and digital video (MPEG-2, H.264).
- You are creative and technology minded
- You are fluent in Dutch and English.
