SciCare Services - EMEA
SciCare Services EMEA is the technical support and professional
services organization of Cisco/Scientific Atlanta in the EMEA
region. With the decades of video delivery expertise SciCare
Services is a valuable resource to help optimize the video
services our customers want:
- Service Agreements - responsive, rapid, pro-active,
dedicated support to keep customers networks up and running,
including a 24/7/365 Technical Assistance Center.
- Integration Services - the best combination of
services to match video services launches, including system
architecture design, project management, system integration
and testing, training services "
- Systems Integration - fully manage the launch of
video systems on time and on budget including VOD, SDV,
DVB-H or IPTV networks
The organization has built several main playout centers for
European broadcasters, digital headends for some large European
cable operators as well as pan European video transport networks.

The professional services business has grown significantly
during the last years. New developments like IPTV, mobile
television, etc. are important business opportunities. To
continue supporting our growth, we are expanding the organization.
One of the new key positions is a "Business Development Manager
Services".
Job description
Based on a thorough understanding of the market, you develop
and implement new services offerings. You will be involved
in defining and implementing the services strategy. One of
your focus areas will be the Service Provider Broadcast Solutions.
- You will identify, prioritize and pursue new and existing
services opportunities.
- You will build relationships with some of our key customers
and prospects both externally as well as internally.
- You will develop a strong relationship with our sales
teams to increase services sales. You are actively involved
in the quotation and bid process.
- You will build and manage relationships in a network of
services and product partners matching our business strategy.
- You will also be involved in negotiating and closing services
contracts. You will follow-up the services contract business.

| Profile |
- The concepts "services" and "solutions" are part of your
DNA
- You have experience in the ICT sector.
- You have a good understanding of a "services business"
in a high tech environment, from a supplier, integrator
or operator's point of view. Preferably, you have experience
in a related role. Alternatively, you have experience in
an operational services role with a well-developed commercial
and business sense, or you have experience in a commercial
(or engineering/solutions pre-sales) role and have a good
understanding of the operational side of the business.
- You are commercial and marketing minded. At the same time,
you can rely on a sound technological background. You can
interact at different levels in complex environments: an
open and positive mindset combined with proactive, solution
and result orientation.
